In keeping with the tradition of revering our gurus for their invaluable contribution in shaping the minds and characters of young people, the students of Edify School Mandsaur observed Guru Purnima for their beloved teachers.
The day is celebrated to make students aware about our rich cultural heritage of ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’. It was celebrated to make the students understand and realise the importance of guru in their lives.
The festivities got off to an auspicious start with students welcoming teachers with the traditional tilak ceremony. Principal Dr. Chundawat congratulated teachers, for devoting their life to the noble profession, thereby ensuring that the light of knowledge is passed on to the next generation and wished “May the gurus continue to shine and be the guides and torchbearers of society”.
